Jas Khangura Vision International Society is a Canadian non profit charitable society based in the province of British Columbia on the Western Coast of Canada.
The Society is controlled by a board of Trustees. The society rules mandate that no Trustee present or past or any relative or associate shall receive any money from the Society in any way shape or form whatsoever. The Trustees work purely on a voluntary basis and receive no wages or salary. The Trustees pay all travel, hotel and air tickets from their own pocket. The Trustees pay all expenses involved in performing their society duties out of their own pockets.
The Society Rules also mandate a NO CASH POLICY. This means that the society or any of volunteers will not accept any cash donations under any circumstances. Donations will only accepted by other means such as cheque, money order, wire transfer, bank draft, credit card etc. The society will also NOT pay out cash in order to conduct its charitable activities.
