We help you to assist others in need. We help you make a big difference in the lives of people who otherwise have no where to turn to for help. We take your good wishes and your financial assistance to the point of need to restore the eyesight of the poor and needy and the helpless. We help you give someone a gift, a very valuable gift….the gift of light…the gift of sight.

Different countries and the various locations within those countries have their own set of problems and their own set of particular hurdles to surmount. We tailor our method of delivery to best suit local conditions.

Generally we work with community volunteers to spread the message that treatment is available and identify and log those persons who require treatment and do not have the means to pay for such  treatment. This in itself is a major task as many of those in need live in remote rural areas or inner city overcrowded slums. Most have little or no education and live on the poverty line. Many have just accepted their blindness and never have a thought that they may once again be able to see their friends and family. Once these persons have been identified, they are given a preliminary screening examination by a semi skilled volunteer looking for common problems.
